Maven Build Issue (3.6)

Nick Nichols
Hello,

I'm just getting started with JGAP for my undergraduate research thesis, and I had a few questions about compiling and building .jar files for JGAP's latest release on my laptop running Lubuntu. I tried "mvn deploy" from my JGAP directory and got the following error:

nnichols@Balthazar:~/Desktop/JGAP$ mvn deploy

[ERROR] The build could not read 1 project -> [Help 1]
[ERROR]
[ERROR]   The project net.sf.jgap:jgap:3.6 (/home/nnichols/Desktop/JGAP/pom.xml) has 1 error

For here, I updated the line in question to runtime and reattempted the run. I got through compilation, but now I'm getting the following:

I was curious if this had been encountered before, and what steps I should take to resolve the problem. I was also wondering if this could still be packaged into a .jar since it passed compilation but not the later testing, or if a new .jar would be automatically produced.

Thank you very much for any and all assistance,
